Khalil, 30, was the first international student arrested in recent weeks amid an unprecedented crackdown by federal immigration authorities.

A federal judge on Friday ruled that the Trump administration can deport Columbia University graduate student Mahmoud Khalil just a month after his arrest prompted national outrage and marked the start of the federal government’s broader crackdown on foreign students.

Khalil has until April 23 to file for relief.

In his ruling the judge said, “the court will sustain charge of removability.”

Court: “You can’t just deport people for no reason!”

Marco Rubio: “We don’t like his opinions.”

Court: “Understandable have a great day.”

It’s important to realize that immigration courts are not part of the Judiciary here, they are administrative courts that are part of the Executive Branch. So the judge works for Pam Bondi and Donald Trump, and has no independence whatsoever.

Coool so we’re really truly committed to this route then okay. Is the only way out of this to try and get everybody to ban together and stop going to work until every last one of these evil fucks are removed from power? I can’t even be sure the judge is actually okay with this seeing how willing and blatant this administration is with corruption.

Which is a very good distinction, because I’ve heard people saying he had citizenship.

Well, those people are wrong but I’m not sure it’s that important of a distinction. Trump has openly said he is looking for a legal justification to do this to citizens soon.

If they deport permanent residents without due process, they can deport any citizen without due process. In some cases they already have.

The Trump administration’s beliefs are far far far far more dangerous. We have no justice right now.

MPR was talking about this claiming anti-sem justification.

FFS, has he looked at who his supporters are? A solid chunk of them would ship every non-white person out of here.

Plus, what about all the ‘blue maga’ folks that spent months clamoring how bad Biden/Harris would have been for the Palestinians and their supporters?
