I do doubt that crime in general is increasing.
I do doubt that intensive and automated surveillance is anywhere remotely close to helpful.
I do doubt that relying on law enforcement, which is usually on the side of the hateful, are the right custodians of mass surveillance, let alone given discretion to use violence in response to it.
