I got my long haired Highlander from a gal at work whose daughter was allergic. Best cat I’ve ever had.
You know what they say about cats with big peets.
They need big cuddles. I’m glad he’s got an accomodating home.
I’m gonna need another photo before I believe this is real… and I just want another.
Ground pounders up and around.
Sounds like they need to adopt a different GF
Right?! I’d go it alone with Stomp by my side.
If this is actually your cat, you might get him checked for acromegaly.
Not my kitty, but good to know!
Fun fact: Ernest Hemingway used to collect polydactyl cats and now, because of him, there is a abnormally sizable population of polydactyl cats on Key West, FL.
Ive been to the Hemingway house 20 or so times now (every year I visit) and it’s great. Now i just go to sit there and pet cats. I don’t even care about Hemingway.
If you are not having a very large stiff drink while you are petting them, you may be doing it wrong!
Looks like polydactyly to me, which is not uncommon in cats.
I bet that adorable dude can move.
Stomp: “I’ll have a rum . . . . And coke.”
Bartender: “why the pause?”
Stomp: “Dunno, I’ve always had them.”
Genius
big pause or it doesn’t make sense
Massive paws would also work if you really exaggerate it. 😉
I am imagining the cat making exaggerated cartoon footstep sounds as it walks
Coconut halves
I’d adopt this freak show in a second and give him the best home
We can’t see your cat’s tail from this one picture. Is it short? Those feet and short tail may make Stomp a Pixie-Bob breed .
Its a highland lynx, which are generally bred to have manx tail.
Fun fact: because of the manx tail, it has a high chance of being incontinent.
Yay
I love him
Stomp summoned this book from the depths of my memory. Big things in store for those big paws!
I had that book as a kid and I’d completely forgotten about it until now!
“An ‘I can read’ book” yeah why else would you have it then, smartass
/s just in case
are we sure this is a cat and not a young lynx?
It’s a Highlander cat. Natural bobbed tail, curled ears, and polydactyl claws.
Those are very rare. In fact, I’m pretty sure there can be only one.
At least it’s not a young mountain lion…
