Same on TikTok. Leftist creators’ comments are being swarmed by Dems saying some incredibly morally repugnant shit. They will blame everyone but themselves.

Yup. Saw a few of them already saying they look forward to buying property in ethnically cleansed Gaza/West Bank.

      Also this:

They really cannot keep their masks on can they?

To them anti-fascism is just a vibe, and social justice causes just an aesthetic, a way to signal team loyalty. When push comes to shove and they get scratched, all of their feigned sympathy with the oppressed goes out the window and they become foaming at the mouth Nazis indistinguishable from MAGA.

anti-fascism IS just a vibe to them but fascism itself is too, I would argue lol. According to them fascism is when you say mean things about minorities on twitter and complain about woke, definitely has nothing to do with imperial shrinkage and what happens when empires run out of gas. This cycle has taught me just how little the american voter gives a fuck about geopolitics. They themselves will often tell you with a smile how they only really care about domestic politics (AKA what they personally stand to gain from imperialism).

Honestly, I don’t think they care. As long as they can keep people occupied with the theater of which genocidal maniac will be in office.

But if they did care…no they will assume that they were too far left and run even faster to the right.

if Dems win: wow our strategy of catering to the “moderates” and conservatives estranged by Trump worked!

if Dems lose: wow we didn’t cater to the “moderates” or conservatives estranged by Trump hard enough. Gotta go harder next time.

It really depends. If the actual left can keep the pressure on and keep Palestinian genocide loud enough that the media HAS to cover it, they’ll handwringingly side with Trump, otherwise they’ll try to ignore it as much as possible and use the same tactics they use when covering police murdering minorities when they absolutely MUST cover it.

It’ll be a tough decision. Do they immediatly start opposing it and have to awkwardly state at their shoes when people ask why they dont have a problem doing it while Biden is still president or do they wait until January and have the same awkward reaction when people ask why this wasn’t a problem 25 hours ago but it is now.

They’re going to immediately pretend that they have always felt this way. Don’t you know that we’ve always been at war with Eurasia?

Edit: I lost the plot in the response, I still agree with my original comment but I’m leaving this one for posterity lol. My original point is that the liberals will keep spouting pro Israeli propaganda and blame pro Palestinian activists for the loss, completely ignoring that the Dems continue to move right over and over leaving the progressive portion of their base behind in pursuit of stealing Republican votes.

I’m guessing the pivot will be something like “I support Israel, but not now; not like this”. Probably a little more polished because party hacks need to justify their paychecks.
