      Eyup. That’s a modestly sized creator exposing Adobe alternatives and Linux to a large following. Hopefully this’ll pull some people away from the corporate operating systems. Maybe even to just look out of curiosity…

      I had the same reaction when he suddenly dropped the “ulterior motives line” and my hopes became true.

      Been watching his stuff for a while, and it was great to see a pretty successful artist find a way to make their pipeline work, and also talk about it.

    I like this it’s a shame none of the programs highlighted were open source but shows commercial software can survive on Linux and he did the move correct by making the move to Linux the last step. By switching your applications first on windows then moving to Linux.

      Yeah, I had no trouble switching to Linux, as I already was using FOSS programs with native Linux versions (i.e. Blender, Krita, OBS…).

    Glad to see people making videos about this stuff. I hope they continue in that direction and dabble in sharing on a peer tube instance or something similar. Creation is one aspect, but distribution also matters. Talking about breaking free of corporate control loses some credibility when it’s content for- and can only be accessed on- YouTube.

      He started on Newgrounds, so he brings that heavy helping of early 2000s Newgrounds edge. Certainly not for everyone. ^^;
