If I had to guess, especially considering the faces he was making, it’s more of a ketamine fueled physical brainfart. Actually coming out as a Nazi, I don’t see what’s in it for him. I know the Trump camp has it’s unapologetic Nazis but I don’t see them as a particularly large faction. I could be wrong.
I think about this story all the time. it’s done well to inspire me in calling out bullshit fash talking points when I see them, it’s always the thin end of the wedge.
It is imo also a stupid argument. I can believe he was under drug influence, given his facial expression. But I don’t think that makes it much better, it just potentially lowered his self-control. But I yould also imagine that this was a planned gesture, given that he repeats it.
