    Milei seems to at least be fixing inflation. It’s already down to 117% from nearly 300% in April. He has been in office just over a year and reversed a very troubling inflationary trend.

    Time will tell if he’s a positive influence for Argentina long-term. The changes have certainly been painful in the short-term, but if lower inflation leads to higher investment and growth, it could fix some of the worst of the economic problems.

      He crushed the inflation by doubling poverty and killing domestic consumption. Not something anyone should be proud of.

        Yes, that’s the pain in the short-term. It’s still unclear how long it’ll take for the economy to recover, hence the uncertainty over the long-term.
