I just discovered Algebrathea and find it intriguing.

While tripping on psilocybin mushrooms and LSD, I have often seen and felt my knowledge of mathematics, physics, and cosmology come together in a profound beautiful and spiritual experience.

Can highly recommend.

Wow I did not know this was a thing. I think doing something related to your craft is always a profound experience.

I wrote, made music, and coded in shrooms and every time time it was an enlightening experience !

Well, I studied physics as a major at university for a while and afterwards some surveying and computer science. I know only some fields somewhat, but I have taken university level classes in linear algebra, geometry, calculus, and theoretical physics.

Psychedelic trips can give you deeper insights into topics you already know.

So during trips, I sometimes perceive things and a corresponding mathematical model just comes up in my mind. It feels very profound, like understanding the inner unseen workings of the universe.

The same applies to other scientific understanding like for example biology and evolution. The more I have learned about it, the better I can go on a mental journey from the begging of life to my own existence.

They usually do. Although the revelations are often basic, repetition of known ideas, or just another perspective on existing knowledge. Creative solutions, new ideas, and insightful combinations of knowledge are the minority. Outright bizarre and misleading stuff and delusions are the smallest fraction.

Of course thoughts experienced while in an altered state should be evaluated again while sober.

For mystical and spiritual experiences, not everything needs to make logical sense or be consistent. Something Ineffable will always remain. In mathematics there are also limits, singularities, infinities, and so on.
