Are there people in your world that just don’t get it, and keep spouting opinions that make no sense given the context of your world or would be disastrous if actually implemented? What are some of the most common bad takes in your world and what makes them so bad?

One of my dnd world is based on a sort of random room generation thing.

The players would get into a dungeon, but each room is randomly generated, and some NPCs know this, but most don’t.

There is a religion that says that depending on if you’re favored by their god, the rooms you would open would have treasures, food or usefull information. If you did something bad though, the rooms you opened would be filled with monsters, cursed, filled with traps, etc. They would then say that opening rooms is a “sacred act” and that regular people shouldn’t open them because the god would be pissed off or smth. Of course, they use propaganda, force and staged events in order to reinforce their religion.

The reason it’s pretty bad is that it creates a hierarchy between the people stuck in that dungeon. It stops them from knowing how it actually works and go back home. Staying in the dungeon for too long is also not a good idea.
