Thank you for this.
The author argues that because there were civil protests in 2012 (1), after wich russia invaded the east of, and southern peninsula of Ukraine, Russia didn’t start the war.
Because, as is well know, a country in political trouble can not be attacked.

This is probably the clearest explanation I’ve seen of the background of what people in here are saying when they are on the side of Russia in this. Thank you
Quite welcome — This is why I’ve left the Canadian left.
There is no simple blame to be laid on an entire country. It makes no sense to blame “ukraine” or “russia”. But it’s obvious that certain people are largely responsible. It’s quite clear that Putin and his pals ordered an invasion for colonial reasons. Now they got alt-imperialists writing pages and pages trying to flip the script. Pathetic. It’s not some geo-political mystery. It’s quite obvious whom to blame.
fwiw: Fuck USAian politicians too. Empire is trash regardless of the nationalist branding.
If New Zealand were to start bombing raids, install boots on the ground, and claim for themselves as their God given sovereign lands the conflicted area of Sudan would we also say that Sudan started it?
What’s the Donbas Alley of Angels?
Or, since you’re likely incapable of answering that:
Who died in the Odessa trade union building fire & why did they die?
If you’re incapable of answering that, you’re welcome to answer this:
Who was the tornado battalion torturing in 2017?
Feel free to provide an answer to any one of the questions.
A link is not an answer.
What, in your words, is the Donbas alley of angels?
The same Reuters that received USAid. LOL
You obviously didn’t read or understand the article. 🤦🏽♂️
