      Wilt, flag, flop, and slant. But “slant” was such a stretch of the idea, and even flop wasn’t great, so I worked past it ok.

        No, you’re right, I initially went for

        Yellow

        Spin, angle, slant and turn, but I thought “rotation” was a bit weird for a connection. I saw “bias” next, which made sense for the NYT editors ;)
