And didn’t they explicitly state that they went down because “the US government is not working on a solution”, 12h before this government changed?
To be fair, you haven’t invented fascism.
Although, in France we have a sort of proverb that says that what happens in the US happens here 10 years later. I hope we will manage to dodge what’s coming at us, this time…
It felt miraculous for me that, for a while, tech companies appeared to comply to regulation (doing the bare minimum, as slowly as possible, but it kinda worked).
My hypothesis is that they now except political support from Trump administration and to pressure the EU?
I wanted to leave a while ago but their shitty development practices got me locked out of my account due to a bug before I could.
I think to claim to make an effort about that, I’m pretty sure I saw changelog about AI content detection at least for the image section.
Like, we will be able to make negative feedback about a video again? Oh no nevermind it’s just bs again…
Thanks a lot for the presets, I’ll give this another try.
But yeah you could have stopped at darktable being better without the “shit” part 😅
When I tried darktable as a complete begginer I was completely lost and ended up learning rawtherapee instead. Would you say it changed now?
Darktable seems more popular than rawtherapee, but is there a big difference feature-wise?
Maybe the goal is to get Musk to buy Bluesky and start all over again 🤷
I think the “etc” shows how f***ed up it might be to package for every single distro. Releasing a tar with no extra bloat and letting each community doing its own things over it is probably one of the best approaches?
I’ve been using the unstable branch for this exact reason. Otherwise I’d have to change my scaling every time I launch a game.
Idk, but in EU I think this wouldn’t be a legitimate use of such sensitive data.
“It is easy for an underaged purchaser to go online and click they are of legal age, purchase ammunition, and have it shipped to their house,” added Magers
WTF America, do amo marketplaces really have the same security standards as p**nhub ?
I’ve lost faith in Qwant a few years ago, but this gives me some hope 😀
I agree that it’s suspicious. This is a HUGE number that would imply a drastic change in their development process and I’m surprised that they don’t give much more information, especially since (as you said) it would promote their product.
Not disappointed by The Verge, first paragraph paraphrases the title with no source and the following is just off topic.
I’m using NewPipe daily and it doesn’t seem broken at all?
I think this rate limiting mechanism is mostly a niceness rule : you should try to not put too much pressure on any website and obey the rules defined in its robots.txt.
So I guess this idea is not bad as it would mostly penalize bad players.
