Honestly I’ve only had to renew my liscense once before. I wasn’t sure if any of the information that they would require to pull my record would change when I renewed it.

They did want a picture of my liscense but, thinking about it now, that was probably just for my I9. Like you said, they should only need the number to run my record.

It doesn’t actually expire until March. I start the new job at the start of February. So I’ll still have a bit over a month to get it done even after I get the new job and they run my records. It would just be more of a pain because the DMV is only open durring my new working hours. It’s still doable though because I could always just swing in on my lunch break.

Honestly I’m probably worrying about this way more than I should. If I wait to get it renewed then I just swing by the DMV some day on my lunch break. If I renew it now it would probably be fine and even if it did screw something up it would probably take a single email to HR to resolve it.

You say that, but I have had a pet snake since I was a child and because I was a boy child I assumed they were male. But once I got older it occured to me that I have no idea if they’re actually male or female (because sexing a snake isn’t as easy as with mammals) and it seems more likely that they’re actually female. But I’m not certain either way and I genuinely don’t care. So I’ve since started refering to them as they/them. My dad still points it out every time I do it. “Oh, you have multiple snakes?” It’s kinda weird considering he’s so progressive in every other way.

As someone from mn (where walz has been governor for a while now) I can assure you that he’s awesome. The only thing that concerns me about him is that hes been awfully quiet about Israel’s genocide so I don’t really know where he stands on that. Otherwise though he’s amazing.

He has passed legislation enshrining abortion rights in mn, blocking corporations from buying single family homes, providing free school lunches to all students, and funding college access for everyone state wide. In his free time he likes hunting, fishing, and working on his old 1979 International Harvester Scout Truck. When he fucked up durring his response to the George Floyd protests he immediately admited that he fucked up and vowed to do better next time. Durring covid he repeatedly chewed people out on both sides of the aisle for politicizing the pandemic while enacting common sense laws about it. Honestly I can’t think of a single thing he has done that I disagree with other than his response to the George Floyd protest which even he admits was wrong.

I am rabbid for this man. He would be a damn nice president. My only regret would be that if he became president then he wouldn’t be my state govenor any more.

Tim Walz? I mean, he’s another old white man but he is fairly progressive and he won’t quite be at retirement age yet by next election. Plus people loved him and what he had to say before the Harris campaign started muzzling him.
