Any reasons why?
Any reasons why?
Honestly, I was going to say Tuta, but seeing how proton changed, I would now add the option of self hosting.
I am unsure how difficult or easy it is, but it’s becoming a very viable option now.
Apologies. I know I posted a previous comment but wanted to add another request.
Would it be possible to add an option that hides the top and bottom bars while scrolling?
Apart from that, great app.
I have an issue with voyager where if I am on an image centric community, and start scrolling, voyager would sometimes scroll down and zoom through pages of content.
If I scroll down slowly it never happens but it mostly happens if I kinetic scroll.
As for feature, I would love to have the option of customising the theme further. The dark black theme is my favourite, but would love to change some aspects to make more legible. For example, I prefer to have gray font on black background as it’s easier on the eyes.
Maybe you should have mentioned some more details such as the name of the instance you are trying to log into and the lemmy version it has if possible?
I have seen this happening before on my phone.
Some apps detect a capacity of 4350 (Accubattery) while Samsung themselves state that the design capacity is 4500.
I haven’t done any battery change and still rock the genuine one it came with.
I don’t think it matters to be honest as long as you are sure the battery in your phone has the right capacity.
Fucking Tossers
Better yet, maybe separate settings per account. If possible of course.
Teams does record how much a member talked and displays a bar that shows that information.
I wouldn’t be surprised if zoom does something similar.
What I don’t understand is why RedNote?
Has it been pushed and advertised by TikTok?
There are countless other established platforms. Not sure why.
Technology companies including Microsoft, Anthropic and OpenAI welcomed the plan
Of course, what else.
My advice would be to look into emulators. Old school games do not have any micro transactions and are complete. Plus there is a vast library of consoles and games to go through.
I understand your concern, but assuming someone looks over all of that, there isn’t something genuinely exciting about it.
Not to mention the terrible traffic it is in now due to the Russia- Ukraine war, other unstable countries within the region, the terrible public transport system Dubai has anyway.
Honestly speaking, Dubai.
Not because of slavery, poop trucks, questionable government policies, etc.
The real reason to me is that it does not offer anything traditional or historical. Yes it has some five start restaurants. Yes it has some big malls. Yes you can do stuff like desert driving or hot air balloons. These are all stuff that could be done anywhere else for cheaper.
I have an old pc running windows 10, it would be cool if it stops getting updates. Makes for a nice offline pc to get some old apps and games running in the future.
If you can get your hand on a ThinkPad that would be great. They are usually rugged and built to last. You can install windows or Linux on it.
I do have two questions here to be honest,
It’s a good initiative, but is it really worth at this time?
I am not entirely sure to be honest. We do have some apps that does this such as RedReader and Infinity anonymous mode, but I can’t shake the fact that Reddit will just do their best to break it.
Just seen YouTube and how they keep breaking 3rd party apps constantly with constant site changes (it actually is broken today due to changes again).
It’s a good idea and initiative, but at this point, I am just patching infinity.
File level access to files. I would love to have the option of moving files in folders and connecting it to a PC to drag and drop files.
True multi tasking.
Ability to install apps from other sources.
