I will never understand jewelery.
Underground tribes living off of the mushrooms we can cultivate. Waging war on other tribes for ressources.
Basically ‘Metro 2033’, but less cool.
Less mental illnessess and back problems.
I think it’s meant in a more metaphorical sense.
Mental chains holding yourself back from reaching your potential or personal forfillment and happiness.
One of those “Surely it’ll only affect people I don’t like, right? Not me…” moments.
I’d like a book with food and bombs. I do like to cook.
I can’t remember the brand, but yeah. Plastic teabags are a thing and not just in the US.
They’re wierd little triangle nets.
But no worries. If you drink proper tea, you’ll never encounter them.
Well, that depends. Most of my pants and shirts and such last a long time.
But I go through socks and boxers pretty damned fast.
I’m aware of that. It’s mostly to point out that the bombs used on Hiroshima & Nagasaki are basically dirtybombs by comparison with the modern variants.
But at the end of the day, I guess it’s a matter of personal opinion.
Death isn’t pleasant. And I’m personally less scared of atomic bombs than soldiers. Humans capacity for cruelty is only limited by their imagination.
Those where the first generation of nukes. Very inefficient. Like comparing muskets to artillery.
Atomics isn’t the worst way to go.
There’s no broken body or bleeding out. No threat of torture, rape or mutilation.
More than likely the pressure wave will kill you before you even realize what that really bright light is.
You’ll never know if you don’t ask…
I don’t think there’s a set age for that. It’s probably more of a mindset thing.
I drink, smoke and eat what I want, when I want. Gave up on chasing a new relationship and although it does get a bit lonely and I miss intimacy, I’d say I’m pretty happy where I am.
But yeah, I am in my 40’s and have been around the block a few times, so it’s not like I’ve missed out on anything.
But who knows? I might change my mind at some point. I was never too good with monotony and even this level careless freedom might grow stale in time.
I’ve heard Finland is on the up and up with clean cities.
Apparently the popo there are quite heavy-handed when it comes to littering and such.
I switched from Windows to Mint. Best thing I ever did for myself as It’s extremely user friendly.
Is it the best choice for you? That depends on what you’re looking for in Linux.
Personally I was just fed up with Microsoft and all the corporate shenanigans. But I’m too old and dumb to learn how to properly utilize Linux (not gonna kid myself on that front), and Mint has proven a great “Baby’s First Linux” for me.
I feel like that’s a more general human problem and not exclusive to people of any specific political orientation.
Aphids? I had those.
I ended up washing the plants down with water regularly.
It’s either that or poison. I think ladybugs are also a solution.
Someone suggested to spraying the plants with soapy water, but that damaged the leaves as much as the aphids without killing them or keeping them off.
It was always this dangerous.
You just hear about it at an increased rate and with more fluff thanks to click hungry internet media.
