The question is, at what point is continued membership in the US a bigger problem than splitting from it would be?
California is large enough and prosperous enough that they could definitely make it as an independent nation, but the transition would be extremely difficult.

Honestly, I don’t know if she would do well in NXT. WWE certainly seems to be better able to cope with big egos than AEW does, but if she were to be problematic backstage there, and WWE thought she did not bring enough to the table to justify dealing with it, they’d probably cut her loose.
That, but also doctors tend to push parents very hard for surgical interventions when they have an intersex child. Which kind of makes the moral panic about gender affirming care for children look as hypocritical as it is. They love doing gender-related surgery on kids when it reinforces the notion of a gender binary, even on kids who haven’t even developed a sense of self yet, but not so much when it flies in the face of that preconceived notion.
But on the plus side, there aren’t legions of “lone wolf” nut jobs just aching to murder you in the name of Dear Leader, who Dear Leader is only too happy to encourage while taking away whatever protections you have from them.
