That’s what I’m seeing as well. I thought this was largely a propaganda move to show Russia isn’t as strong as thought to the Russian people. It’s an attack on Putin more than anything else.
This argument makes most sense if you’re arguing in favor of revolution

800 000 isn’t the total count of slaves in the US
The US has roughly 0.3% of it’s population as slave labor. China has 0.4%. That looks pretty comparable to me
Are you referring to prison labor?
My thought is that this is a way to hone the north Korean military. They don’t know what’s wrong until they try and use it.
