I responded to someone else, but I have a gaming laptop that needs the DC Barrel plug for playing games, but also lets you charge it with USB-C (useful for traveling). That would meet the standard set forth, as it is compatible with USB-C charging.

Good point with that last bit, I have a gaming laptop that comes with a big DC Barrel plug and power brick, which is essentially needed for playing games. However, it also lets you charge with USB-C which is what I use when travelling/doing productive work. I see no reason why this approach can’t be applied more regularly, as it increases flexibility and maintains compatibility with the standard.
I use navigation all the time, or have it up at least, for the live traffic updates. Very useful!
One of these days there’ll be an interview where Margot Robbie talks about her constant use of Lemmy
Earlier this week when I saw a post about it, I did end up getting a reddit thread which was interesting. It was partially hallucinating though, parts of the thread were verbatim, other parts were made up.
Late reply, respiration occurs in cells when they burn ATP energy, consuming Oxygen and producing Carbon Dioxide. Photosynthesis creates ATP rather than burn it. Plants will respirate and burn that ATP after it is created, but photosynthesis itself is not respiration. Hope you find this interesting!
Fairly minor correction, but photosynthesis is essentially the opposite of cellular respiration. Plants do respirate and release CO2, but their photosynthesis more than offsets their respiration.
Anecdotal, but I’ve never had a teacher tell me why Wikipedia wasn’t a good source. Similarly, I’ve never had a teacher educate students on how to properly use resources like Wikipedia as a starting point for sources. All my peers and I heard was “Wikipedia is bad, never use it, it’s not reliable, don’t trust anything from it.”
I wish I had been taught why and how earlier, but I had to learn why and how myself.
Thank you, I love gaining random and interesting knowledge that will likely never be of use to me. It’s really fun!!
For some reason it didn’t work there. Oh well
“Not one are” sounds wrong to me but “None are” sounds correct. I want to check English rules, one sec
Okay, so it appears “none” can be singular or plural. So it can also mean “not one of any” so “none are” is grammatically correct. Interestingly, “none is” vs “none are” is apparently something not infrequently debated.

Also, could someone tell me how to force a line break?
I do find it somewhat ironic how much they have embraced USB-C on laptops and tablets, yet were essentially forced to add to their phones.
