Mint for years but i forget. In the updates make sure fully updated first. Then i remember some sort of upgrade command.
Im not much help but i think i did it once. Or you can preserve your home folder, broweser bookmarks, etc… the load the new os from scratch, but im sure theres an upgrade option.
Thats sad.
Also coked up sharks 😱
libre office not being a smart arse either. it’s the easiest way. i am making some assumptions however. i assume you are a full on Linux user at home and have to deal with MS Office documents of various types at work or some other reason. you can work on that document at work un MS Office. bring it home and work on it some more in libre office. and back again.
python i automated a ton of repeatative and boring tasks. made my work life super easy. made some tools for my manager to harvest all drawings for a user specified product. sky is the limit. well until you type import cosmos /s
casually mentions how i run linux. other person. that’s cool. continues with windows.
if they don’t want to hear it, they don’t want to hear it. but if they do, they know they can ask.
Ok I’d cut through all of this and focus on your needs: phone with no spying, can’t find rom. I assume you mean your phone isn’t supported for graphene, lineage, or calyxos, or any others I missed?
Easiest way: buy a phone that is supported for the privacy minded os you want.
On the windows side of things (at my job) i dumped onenote for cherry tree. Its on portable apps website.
Not sure for linux. I run linux at home but only need one note- like programs at work.
