Only one of us is throwing a tantrum and calling people names here.
If you have all the answers about how to solve this problem, it’s tragic that you are keeping them to yourself, while simultaneously blaming everyone else’s cowardice and incompetence for a situation we realistically have no control over.
I’m part of a group that regularly hand writes letters to representatives about issues including this one and I donate significant amounts of money to organizations that lobby the issues that are important to me, including this one. I canvas for local candidates that share my values. It’s all just farting into the wind though.
If you have the answer, please share.
So, with all this energy, what have you done?
Ok, so what should we be doing?
That’s what I’m saying. I’m just heartbroken that I’ll have to vote for someone unapologetically funding genocide with my tax money.
What’s the fucking point of democracy if I still have to vote for genocide in order to avoid the end of “democracy.”
In this case fighting for it means voting for Trump tho…? I don’t think he would have done better in this situation. Do you?
Yeah, it’s been “hold your nose and vote for the least insane” for a long time now, but more the choice is “the guy who supports genocide” or “the guy who really really supports genocide.”
Fucking two party first post the post bullshit. This is going to get Trump elected when the people who cant bear to vote for genocide stay home or vote third party.
The air strikes are also not good for them.
I think the answer to this is to make more community colleges offer four year degrees. They are mainly funded through property taxes just like grade school and the professors get paid just fine. $300 per class is a reasonable fee for students.
The sound track to Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey and then all the artists on there- kiss, slaughter, winger, faith no more, megadeath, etc.
You hate Reddit more than you love your cat? I’m feeling kinda dumb for contributing now…
I’m 40 and I have them on my dinner table, but usually eat on the couch. I am the placemat I guess. 🤷♀️
I think it would be worth heading back to Reddit, there’s just a lot more people there still. R/assistance is a good one.
So it’s not so much that the reef is not in danger, it’s that the Australian government doesn’t want its economy disturbed and has been successfully lobbying against scientists recommendations.
The only push notifications I get are from post mates.
What other, more sensitive information would they be collecting this way?
