I use a 15 year old, quarter million dollar 3d scanner at work. It’s on par with what you can get for about 5 to 8k these days.
The advent calendar they do every year is eye opening to just how flavourful coffee can be. But I do enjoy the light roast funky processes, prepared in a pour over the best. Your taste may vary. Their single origin lots are $70 - $150 a kg.
For home beans, Prices are going up for the same beans, some will try to cut costs by buying cheaper beans to blend. But my supplier of choice, C4 out of chch has warned us of the market situation and that they will be putting prices up instead of compromising quality.
I prefer a 20db cut that’s flat across frequencys. Most audio engineer plugs like the etymotic range aim for that midpoint.
If I’m chainsawing, it’s big muffling 30db cut earmuffs.
I’ve been using these for years for concerts, gym classes and always take spares to festivals to give to friends. They are designed for an even 20db cut when listening to music. They have the same fit as the cheaper ER20 but the xs have clearer top end.
I use them 3x a week and have a few pairs. They don’t last forever as the baffles get softer over time. At $40 they last me a year which is pretty good value.
If he’s caught the lessons of how will help the dozens of copycats
Evaporative coolers save a ton of energy compared to refrigerator cycle closed loop systems. Like a swamp cooler, the hot liquid that comes from cooling the server is exposed to the atmosphere and enough evaporates off to cool the liquid by a decent percentage, then it’s refrigerated before going back into the servers.
Data centre near me is using it and the fire service is used to be being called by people concerned the huge clouds of water vapor are smoke
If it’s all the same driver board, they save on complexity of having different parts. I hate it but it’s true. Samsung gaming monitors now have to keep track of a remote to change settings.
At risk of un open sourcing their code, taking their ball and going home
It can be successful with Musk. Would love to see it separated from him
There’s the explore tab in the mastodon app that shows you trending hashtags, and recommends people to follow based off who you already follow. There’s trending accounts that just post about trending items too. Use them as your algorithm.
Will be interesting if they need the same thermal management that lithium packs do. That adds a fair amount of weight to the system
Yes this is on their Odyssey line of gaming monitors. Their curved ultra wide is great in the office once you get through the menus
Samsung monitors now include all the smart TV crap and need a remote to set them up
I’ve got a Ts80p which is a qc3 usbc soldering iron for that. It’s crazy powerful for it’s size and runs off a pretty small anker powerbank. You could slide that into your sleeve to go portable and one handed
You’d want more than one cell. You’d be pulling 23amps from a 4.2v 18650 to give the same 100w at 20v power as you get from a top usbpd power supply.
There are 18650s that do 30 amps for short bursts, but it would get as hot as the iron and be empty in 5 min
I’m afraid you’ll never get a desk job with that amount of girth ecentricity.
