A good rule of politics is if someone or an ideology that you don’t like and they have no power or connection to power just ignore them, especially if there on your side for 90% of actual relevant issues. Not theoretical issues that may pop up after the revolution that may never come.

I’d recommend visiting it or joining an instance that federates with it at least. The liberals like to make it out to be a communist propaganda machine but most of the content is memes, oss, and general left wing / anti-US stuff. They will ban you on some communities if you bring up tianemen square or uyghurs though, so that sucks, but otherwise most of the content / users on there are decent.

Canola oil does have omega 3 but it has far more omega 6. Omega 6 has inflammatory properties while omega 3 has anti inflammatory properties. So it’s important to keep them in balance to avoid chronic inflammation.

Canola(rapeseed) oil has an omega 6 to omega 3 ratio of about 2/1 which isn’t as bad as some of the other more problematic “seed oils” like corn and soybean oils which have a 50/1 or 5/1 respectively. So maybe just using canola oil is fine, maybe you’ll need more omega 3 to keep a balance, not quite sure as this seems to be a newer area of study surrounded by some diet culture moral panic.

For me I like to err on the side of adding more diverse foods to my diet as I think that’s a good rule of thumb, so i’m trying to add more omega 3.

I think you’d probably need more than in an animal based diet since plant based fats and oils have way more omega 6 then animal based fats which can fuck up the balance.

It’s got a bit to go. Checked yesterday , granted at whole foods, and their fake ground beef was $0.56 and ounce while there regular ground beef was $0.38 per ounce . Both were the same 365 in store brand.

The cheapest fake ground beef cost about the same as the premium bison ground beef.

There are like 5 people who post 90% of the content on lemmy. Cm0002 is one of them and really hates tankies / anyone to the left of them.

Most of the content on the “tankie triad” is general left wing anti-us stuff. Occasionally they’ll be some post praising China then some liberal will comment something about tianemen square or uyghurs, get banned , and then complain that the whole instance is full of genocide apologists.

It’s not like there are regular posts praising Kim jung un or maduro like the liberals make it out to be. There are a decent amount shitting on liberals, like the reverse of this post, which perpetuates this dumb instance war. It’d be best if it stopped as were all “radical leftists” in The eyes of the rest of society and were gonna need some sort of solidarity to accomplish the 90% of things we agree on.
