They’d have better luck building a huge wall and inspecting everything that comes through.

The issue seems to be the underlying code tells the ai if some data set has too many white people or men, Nazis, ancient Vikings, Popes, Rockwell paintings, etc then make them diverse races and genders.

What do we want from these AIs? Facts, even if they might be offensive? Or facts as we wish they would be for a nicer world?

That’s what I don’t understand. The item is using up warehouse space, marked for me, for five days. Surely they’d make more money just mailing it and restocking the item to sell more during those five days.

I took July off from any of this stuff. After Sync released (my preferred app before), I’ve come to lemmy to try to see how it’s going, but honestly, I’ve lost most of the desire to blindly browse random stuff like I did.

Ha. It feels good to have such a benevolent leader here in the US. He never talks business with his family. He only talks about the weather when family members call him on the phone. Whatever profits are made are because they are the smartest people he knows.
