I also “don’t know a lot about this”, but I do know that your browser receiving a 200 means that everything worked properly. From what I can tell, this technique is replaces any and every 404 response with 200, thus tricking the browser (and therefore the user) into thinking the site is working as expected every time they run into a missing webpage on this site.

However, to incentivize you to still sign in with a PSN account while playing those games, Sony says that it will “soon” be adding “in-game content unlocks” like outfits and resources. You can see the full list of bonuses in Sony’s blog post about the news

How does this affect a genuine user who experiences a 404 on your site?

This is unscripted, unstructured, unrehearsed, unnarrated, uncaptioned, etc. Just me recording my screen for about 30 minutes while I make 5 GIFs, thus passively demonstrating my exact process. Well, my process as of last week. I have streamlined things a bit since then, but this is still a decent demonstration. Any tips or criticism you have for me to help improve my process are also welcome!

With all that said, I have been working on a text-based tutorial of my process, which you should be able to follow to make a GIF from scratch without using any of my template files that you see me making use of in that video. Arguments:

A. In S1E17 “The Fighting Irish”, when we meet Jack’s siblings and his presumed father, everyone called him Pop. Which is probably just a pet name, not his real name.
B. In S3E13 “Goodbye, My Friend”, when Jack describes his daddy issues to Frank while watching Harry and the Hendersons, he calls his father Billy.
C. Every other time his presumed father is mentioned by name, it is Jimmy now.
D. Of course, we eventually find out that his biological father is Milton Greene.

A temporary workaround is to use the share button to share the post to your web browser, which opens it there and (after giving it a moment to load them all) plays them at full speed.

I use Thunder as well and noticed this issue. Anywhere in the app where there are multiple GIFs loaded at once (a post like this, the Manage Media screen, etc.), the GIFs render at a more slow speed the more there are:

• This post we are commenting on has 48 GIFs, and is nearly unusable
• This post has 24, and is closer to full speed, but still noticeably slow: https://feddit.org/post/6785713
• This post has 12, and they don’t seem slow to me at all: https://feddit.org/post/6368045

This is the same for every post I have created with 12, 24, or 48 GIFs.

I like vote counts on posts, because they help me understand what sort of content the community likes, and what sorts I should just not post again. But a cumulative total on my profile? I really don’t care.

A high-tech device to efficiently google yourself

1. Rip the Blu-rays to my computer
2. Import the appropriate episode into Kdenlive (video editor)
3. Cut the video down to just the clip that I want
4. Add the text as a “title clip”
5. Use a combination of a number of Effects to animate the text
   • BoxBlur
   • Crop, Scale and Tilt
   • Distort
   • Transform
6. Export as an MP4 file
7. Use ffmpeg to convert the MP4 to a looping WEBP

I also occasionally use GIMP to create a particular asset to use in the video (like the stamp in the “request denied” GIF above) or use the infinite loop illusion technique that I outlined in this tutorial: https://feddit.org/post/6015807
