Yeah OP is right if they are just going to surf the web.

It’s true for more popular sub forums but it sucks for hobbies and more niche topics.

She’s learning to meet my two boys between the glass and screen. If I can get them to get along, I’d love to bring her indoors. Luckily she has all her shots and tests now, so really it’s just a small problem with teeth and claws.

I want to use Lemmy more but the content just isn’t enough yet especially on niche topics and hobbies. I do try to come here for the “front page” over Reddit, since those posts on Reddit get so many replies you ain’t reading them all anyways.

But when it’s time to talk World of Warcraft, for example, Lemmy is mostly dead.

Don’t talk shit about people behind their back. It always has a way of getting out because it’s clearly how you feel when their is no filter in place.
