  • He and others in the ADL weaponized accusations of antisemitism to shut down pro Palestine speech as much as they possibly could. I live a town away from Harvard University and he was seen meeting with Harvard administration often and preceding every act of repression against student activists including immediately before they shut down their encampment and prevented student activists from graduating instead of listening to them.

When a lobbiest says they want a platform shut down and then it eventually gets shut down it’s hard for me to dismiss that as mere coincidence. Given their influence on platforms like Meta, who wants to avoid an FTC investigation, I’m just not surprised. Any corporate platform’s primary goal is profit.

  • While the articles may not be spam you are flooding the feeds of users who subscribe to mutual communities by posting 6 times in one community in a minute, therefore pushing posts in other communities way down in users’ feeds. I appreciate your passion and the information you share but it may make a better experience for others if you spread your posts apart a bit. I have been on Lemmy for over 2 years and moderate a few communities so you can take this feedback or leave it. Getting blocked by other users probably isn’t your desired result especially when you have good information to share. Calling people “sad” will definitely lead to getting blocked or banned from communities which I doubt is your desired result.

  • It says the technology is similar but doesn’t get into any specific comparison so I don’t exactly read it the same way. This is a very brief and basic article that may not answer all your questions. I’m sure there is more to come.

It does go on to say:

According to the study, the device is more efficient than other existing atmospheric water generators because it uses a “novel rotating operational strategy, in which one module works in the desorption, while the others work in the adsorption simultaneously … to keep the device harvesting water continuously.”

The technology could also be used for purposes ranging from dehumidification to agriculture irrigation to thermal management for electronic devices.

It also mentions similar devices being used in areas such as Sand Branch Texas outside of Dallas. Your question is import and and while I can’t answer it as thoroughly as I’d like I imagine these issues were in consideration when working on this and whether or not they’ll be successful is something we’ll find out soon.

Would be interested in hearing more from the community.
