It’s such a dumb name, that it makes me genuinely furious there there are people out there who have lied and impostered their way into positions where they can make such decisions, while having absolutely no clue at all what they’re even doing in the building.

Apple intelligence makes sense, because the abbreviation is AI. Pretty smart and simple if you think about it.

But Copilot is the kind of name Apple would choose for its product. Things like centre stage, launchpad, facetime… They’re all very descriptive and cool sounding names of their software products. Copilot is a great name that they’re throwing away along with Cortana because their crappy practices are crappy.

I mean, it does look like a sensible option. BRICS countries are growing in number and their combined wealth is nothing to sneeze at.

Turkey was never really allowed to be a part of EU and therefore will join the cool new club while the rest of Europe grows in far right rhetoric, and generally anti islamic sentiment.

While the developer doesn’t accept donations, they do encourage donating to the people maintaining the block lists. I’ve contributed in the past and would happily keep doing so.

It would be a shame if the devs maintaining the block lists stop doing what they’re doing because it’s not sustainable enough for them.

A more sinister example was Repo Men. In that movie, the tech still worked, but people were no longer able to keep up with the extortionate payments that came with the implant.

I’m going to preface this comment by saying I don’t condone what Hamas did, but I also understand why they did it. I’m also an outsider as many of us are. I don’t live in the area and I don’t have family/friends involved in the conflict so my views are unbiased but also irrelevant lol.

Imagine if someone walked into your home, raped and killed your spouse and kidnapped your kids. Would you want to kill them in revenge? I sure as hell won’t hesitate! There’s a rule in the US that allows you to kill in this very scenario. It’s called the Castle doctrine, or the more commonly known “stand your ground” rule.

A Palestinian family who have seen their homes demolished (despite living there for decades or centuries), have witnessed their children be murdered for sport, and have their citizens constantly harassed by Israeli settlers terrorists armed to the nines and deliberately provoking and antagonising anyone for a rise so they can use lethal force as self defense, will naturally turn to their own friendly neighborhood terrorist group to support themselves, likely after a lot of targeted propaganda by such groups.

Was it right for Hamas to kill innocents? Of course not. Are Palestinians happy they got some revenge for what they’ve lost for many years? of course! Are they sorry? Hell no. Hamas did something. It will mean war, and the wrath of many countries internationally, but I guess hopelessness and desperation doesn’t go hand-in-hand with logical, well-reasoned responses.

War is never that convenient or that easy.

The articles I’ve read about Uttar Pradesh contain some of the absolute worst crimes I’ve ever read about outside of war. It must be an absolute hellhole for there to be so many violent crimes that are in the realm of extremely disturbing.
