  • Improving health coverage is theoretically possible, and later on they may get better, but the only things that will improve are a few blue states and even then it’s just small changes.

So dreams of large non violent change are as futile as the murderous rage. Best one can do is make more money or move to a better area or immigrate.

  • I decided I like this wasted money effort and resources. The market is not saturated so much as it’s waiting for true innovation, and that happens every day by thousands of small companies who are being suppressed by the big monopolies .

So the more that is wasted in AI, the more the little guys win because even the monopolies have finite resources and have to pull away from other things, new things, good things. Things that are provided by decidedly small companies who can be squashed easily

  • All of these are good points, and good to do.

My fear is that most Americans do not talk to their neighbors , do not sit outside and mingle, do not go to church, mosque or temple, or to bars or places of sin, even. They sit at home, go to work. Back and forth, exhausted.

Two generations ago people had stronger community ties. Most people were still exhausted and exploited but complained face to face about it, to neighbors and people in the community they did not know. And that made all the difference to power social movements .

Something is broken here, in my community and I suspect other places, I don’t know how to fix it and have not seen any good fix proposed by others.

I think with time things will change for the better, but many things have to help

  • They are a mindless organization, not one or a few using logic. Everyone working there can figure out the general issues, on their own, for sure. But it’s an out of control huge organization. Even the top leadership is along for the ride at this point.

Every department is headed by competent and intelligent people, I assume. But they each only control a small slice of the environment, and even in each division there are many things the middle management cannot control directly. Too big

It’s not like a car manufacturer, there is an exponential difference in the number of parts to control and the complexity.

When the sales, and other parts are woven in, I doubt there is a dozen people alive who can explain how all the company structure works together
