“Stop being a country already!”
“Stop being a country already!”
Now, now, I know its human costume is not perfect yet, but just don’t look into its eyes and you should be OK.
Wasting meta’s resources on a deserted wasteland absolutely nobody wants or cares about? I think I don’t mind that actually.
Maybe they can just give him a bogus golf trophy or something.
That guy again.
There’s probably a movie to make with this shit.
It sounds and probably is pointless, but I expect politicians everywhere are completely lost as to how the hell they can communicate with that idiot. And they have little choice in the matter.
Well they definitely kept their core principles of collecting data without consent in any case.
I was, of course, refering to the actual Final Fantasy NPC.
not really, that was 100% 8-bit theater too
Yeah, I can agree with that.
I know that story. It’s a lot more nuanced than that.
Thing is, Disney barely had anything to do with the restaurant itself (they’re basically the restaurant’s landowner). And the only thing on which they could attack Disney was to point that the restaurant had a description on Disney’s website… which is part of Disney online services, and subject to their terms of services.
So yeah, grasping at a clause from an old Disney+ subscription is bullshit, but the claim honestly did not make a lot of sense to begin with. The restaurant itself should have been sued to hell, even more so because apparently they reinstated they were allergy compliant several times when asked.
According to Legal Eagle’s video, Honey could be pocketing affiliate link money from creators that had never even anything to do with them.
It’s installed on viewer’s side, so it makes sense.
I’d also say there are probably limits to what you can enforce arbitration for, especially if you outright lied to your customers, but I am not American and I have no idea how irredeemably fucked up your customer protection laws are.
I’ll take the guy that says “Welcome to Corneria”. He may not have much to say, but he sounds more sincere at least.
“You don’t know it yet, but deep inside you’re already a cryptobro like us.”
Ah ah they wish.
It is. Nouveau and neuf are mostly synonyms. You’d get a bit more “neuf” for the state of an item (like “brand new” vs used) and nouveau is used for both a new hat you got or more abstract stuff (like New Year).
Neuf is in quite a few place names, like Chateauneuf or Villeneuve.
I didn’t get that from the article but then, yeah, if it’s Apple rewriting BBC headlines like that, what the hell are they thinking.
Oh, well that’s different. There is no reason Apple should be editorializing their content like that.
AI-generated products can be a bad fit for news
No shit. The fact they only discovered that once they’ve got burned proves they never even questioned what generative AI does.
Though I’m sure half of the blame is from them asking it to tack the most clickbaity headlines on every article they can. Even human editors all but outright lie in those, of course an AI is going to hallucinate you the best title it can.
Interesting. I am going to look into this.
Newer ones use a meta account rather than a facebook one, not sure if they backported it to others. It’s still a crappy ecosystem sending you useless social content ads at every corner, but technically not facebook.
Maybe there’s a way to purge them from it with external tools.
This is bullshit. I don’t use an ad-blocker and often get a full minute of ad. And an extra minute if I happen to pause the stream for like 30 seconds and come back to it.
