Brooks Ghost Max 2s. They are not cheap though. I paid $160. They are my first pair of Brooks, and I really like them so far.
They are Brooks Ghost Max 2s. They are expensive. I paid $160. I’ve never spent this much on running shoes before. I was hesitant but when I put them on at the store and walked around, I was sold.
Ran a few miles with my new shoes and my god, were they amazing. It felt like cheating. Like I was weightless and just flying. I will try to increase the distance this weekend, but it’s the best I’ve felt about running in a long time. The shoes weren’t cheap but they were worth it!
I just got some new shoes - Brooks, which I’ve never tried before. They felt amazing at the store and I’m looking forward to my first run in them!
I never want to see those 2 words used together ever again.
Yes, they saved my feet. I swear by them. The next best thing to getting custom $200+ orthotics from a foot doctor. I own several pairs. Even my casual shoes have them inside.
Try Super Feet inserts (the orange ones). ~$50 USD. Cheaper than a pair of running shoes. Just take out the insoles in your current pair.
No thanks
CREDIT UNIONS are the way to go!
Yeah but now H&R has all your financial information. It’s “free” but that doesn’t mean there is no cost.
Fuck all corpo scum! Intuit, TurboTax and H&R Block can all fuck right off! Corporate lobbying motherfuckers can burn in hell.
Sometimes the act of just putting on my shoes (without giving it much more thought) would get me over that hump. And like others said, baby steps. Start with just around the block or down the street/road and back.
You should be proud!
I went on a longer run this week. It felt really great. I’m torn if I should continue using a tracker. I’m just so tired of data and this incessant pressure to track everything. But at the same time I want to get better and data would definitely help.
