37·22 days agoOh yes, Jeffrey Sachs, who’s 2023 hot take on the Ukraine war so appallingly inaccurate that 340 of his economist colleagues wrote an open letter condemning him for it. They stated:
Your interventions present a distorted picture of the origins and intentions of the Russian invasion, mix facts and subjective interpretations, and propagate the Kremlin’s narratives.
When your world news comes from youtube, chances are you are getting the wool pulled over your eyes.

This most recent article is about LLM’s specifically, but the previous articles deal in more fundamental terms with human agency in the modern tech world. Definitely a good read IMO.

Why don’t you use chained commands, or better yet simply create an alias that chains down/up, then use the alias instead?

Is processing the audio being played back to add subtitles active?
Not sure where you are confused. If any part of this feature is active by default I will disable it.
I’m ready to deactivate it if it comes with any active component.
Two things you can do to see if it is software/config related:
Test a live USB of the same Mint version.
Create a new user and log in to that account and test it.
It is just about steamOS though.

My dog often eats raw bones of various animals. Last month he came home with a wild boar skull which has now eaten almost entirely, aside from the teeth and tusks.
Yesterday he caught and ate an entire rabbit. There wasn’t even a single hair left.
These are not things any human I know can do, safely or otherwise.
3·11 months ago62 Ford unibody shortbed. Cost me $100. Straight six and three on the tree. Ran like a champ. If you loaded the bed with a lot of weight you could no longer open the doors to get in or out.
Have you checked the BIOS time and date?
