1 year agoA single new reactor takes decades to build and costs billions. Investing in solar, wind, the grid and storage instead will generate more energy, faster, and for less.
my guess is they didn’t want them to leave the area, moving to towns still populated by people and spread radioactivity there. no clue, though.
