The only thing stopping me from switching to Linux is some college software (Won’t need it when I’m done) and 1 game (which no longer gets updates and thus is on the path to a slow sad demise)
So I’m on the verge of going Penguin.
Yeah a lot of people will hear a very basic rundown of Linux from someone who has a bad experience with it (they installed it without reading anything) and they hate on it for life never looking into how things have improved.
A LOT of people in that crowd don’t even know about Valve proton and how well that works.
In North America they teach that North America and South America are 2 separate continents.
When someone refers to “America” in the contexts of countries they 9 times out of 10 mean the US. Since people from there usually call themselves “Americans” rather than “United statians”
Instead of 1 big website like reddit, there’s a bunch of smaller websites like reddit. These sites are united in a way as users from one site can view, comment on, etc on other sites.
Something similar is Email. Even if you made your email address with Google to have @gmail.com at the end of your email address you can still send and receive emails from anyone.
