No in all seriousness, many Americans believe that Israel needs to exist becuse of some prophecy of the second coming or something. Not supporting Israel would loose their votes. We also have the military industrial complex that really wants to sell arms to as many countries as that can. They are an important lobby group.

I am tired of people viewing it so simply. Yes, Fuck Israel. But you’ve got to be realistic. A Democrat lead America will lead to betterment eventually. It is still the smartest move to back them. Just keep criticizing them and supporting them.

And furthermore, I am sorry but making sure that one of the richest and most important nations in the world remains democratic IS more important than the war in palestine. Letting Republicans win will just worsen so many more people’s lives around the world.

But hey. It is easy to say when it is not my family being bombed.

Well the point is that people who had a bad reaction to mosquito bites tend to avoid getting them. Therefore they tend to live longer because they also happen to avoid the diseases, live longer and have more babies. They don’t need to understand anything.

The point is that the itching evolved because it could be beneficial for us. The bites are not unpleasant in themselves as you say. They are unpleasant because we evolved to feel them unpleasant. It is the same as sex being pleasant. It is that way because it is beneficial.
