Try calling some other vets in your area and just ask about the litter. I bet someone has a recommendation for you that isn’t part of a for-profit plan. Alternately I found a bunch of recommended litters online searching for “asthma litter box”, though I won’t link any here because I can’t recommend anything I don’t have experience with.

What I was trying to find for you isn’t a special litter though. I was wondering if there was a litter box itself that had an air filter built in. Failing that you might try getting a small air purifier like the Honeywell QuietClean (which I do have; it’s just okay) and placing it next to the litter box.

I’m sure you’ve looked into this, but doesn’t your cat’s vet have a recommendation?

I appreciate that this has been happening for a long time, and it’s really steamrolling now, but the Satanic Temple is still recognized by the IRS and federal court system. We’re not at the endgame yet.

Same here running Cinnamon on Manjaro. Archive Manager is my default daily driver because it’s the GUI’s default, but in the terminal I use p7zip.

An example in a category isn’t the same as your original claim of “this one word is how they allowed toxic chemicals to seep in”. And you’re confusing the drinking water contaminated with PFASs with the plastic contaminated with phthalates and PCBs.

The first thing the article cites is perfluorooctanoic acid, a PFAS compound, and their examples of its use are pans, carpets, shoes, and coats.

The poster children of “forever chemicals”, PFASs, are not plastics. I’m not defending plastics as utterly harmless, but it’s wrong to point the finger solely at plastics.

And not every toxic chemical is from plastic.

I can only imagine how disruptive that is. But if I absolutely had to have a shitload of Russian immigrants, I think I want the ones that disagree with their government so hard they’re willing to leave the country.

I’m 237 years old, a retired phosphate miner in Nauru. I learned to drive on manual transmissions but now refuse to drive anything not powered by a turbo-encabulator, with the exception of Starfleet shuttlecraft.
