I’m privileged in that I live in perhaps the country with the densest coverage of EV infrastructure anywhere (except for maybe a microstate or two), but in the 7 months of driving an EV I’ve not once experienced range anxiety.

You can’t do huge roadtrips without a recharge every 250-350km in this relatively more affordable model, but for daily driving it’s like waking up with a full tank every day. If I visit friends 200km away, I just park at a destination charger and walk the last 200 meters.

At least right now that’s is a lot more viable than hydrogen. I can’t fill up in my town. I can fill up near my work 35m away. But it would a hassle.

I’ve have and have had multiple mechanical keyboards, with both blues and browns. I also have the Logi MX Keys S.

I think it’s a clever way to get rich people to pay high taxes. Singapore is just not a place suited for private cars for the able bodied. The same policy in other countries wouldn’t be fair, but I could probably see it work in Manhattan or in the canal district in Old Amsterdam.

I’ll get a social welfare benefits which won’t be a lot but I can probably make do for a while. I’ll also get a medical insurance benefit which covers roughly 2/3 of my insurance so I’ll have to pay something like €40/month myself. Those benefits will help me pay the €385 max yearly out of pocket for the care I’ll need, and be done with it. That’s not to say being in this situation is great in the Netherlands, but I won’t go into debt and I won’t lose my home (gov’t guarantees mortgage to bank) and I won’t have to continue to pay back my 0% interest student loans.

We’re lucky. But make sure to vote.

Epidemics and plagues have been part of life forever. It’s not like we had never seen anything like this before that warrants exploring alternative explanations. We’ve never been more connected. This was predicted and it will happen again.

Without a solid case supported by evidence we have to assume the simpler explanation.

Just kidding, personal heating is a very good solution to being cold. It’s much better for the environment and your wallet than heating your house/room.

I use electric blankets though no UGGs. Except rare occasions, my cats don’t get zapped. Have you tried going without and see if it makes a difference?

Where I live (we don’t get most US models) Ford isn’t really considered super dependable. Not the worst, but certainly not comparable to Toyota, Honda, Mazda.

Also you can do maintenance the dirty way because you’re probably going to write off the RV/trailer over time, while with a house you want to do it the proper way in order to be able to sell it.
