I’ll go out on a limb here and suggest that most of the FOSS alternatives I’ve discovered in the last 12-18 months have been just as good if not better than paid alternatives. The issue they face mostly is lack of visibility. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I discovered Beat for screenplay writing for the first time.

sbemails, TGS and tragdor are forever etched in my brain.
kids, don’t play with too many knives. Crash stunt man gonna save some lives.
Do you pay for premium? I do and I feel like the experience I have on the platform is leaps and bounds better than what people describe on a free account. I wouldn’t put it past Google to actively make the product worse when you aren’t paying.
Can we just sunset google altogether
Hey friend, there’s no need to fear the possibilities. If you are the person named on the ticket you will be able to board. Tickets nowadays can be scanned a multitude of ways, most airlines I’ve flown with the same scanner can read QR codes, barcodes and whatever the SMS style code is called. This isn’t about reducing options for you, it’s about increasing them. If you feel more comfortable with a printed boarding pass then they will be happy for you to do that.
But in answer to your question, there’s nothing special about the cardboard the passes get printed on, it’s just to make it less likely that you’ll lose it or throw it away accidentally. But even then, you can just present ID at the ticket gate, they’ll verify that you’re who you say you are and let you on. So what I’m saying is; give it a shot. You’ve got nothing to lose.
yeah i liked him bettter when the extent of his mental process was “everybody must be writing letters at all times, I must help them”
I use imginn, nitter and redlib to view Instagram, x and reddit info, respectively. I refuse to engage with any of them using a login or having to turn off my VPN.
Bro there’s like 6 comments in here and all of them are a masterclass in comedy 11/10 would accuse China of misgivings again
I’ve also had a Samsung fridge for 6 years and haven’t had a problem with it. But again, this is anecdotal.
I bought a Samsung washing machine in 2016 and it died in 2020. They sent someone to repair it within a week at no charge. It’s still going now, so I think it worked? Anyways YMMV
What distro do you use for day to day stuff? I’m a Mac user but want to dip my toes into Linux as a VM
I just came here to remind you that you are the bomb

Bioshock 4, but with Ken Levine back at the helm.
I like the internal logic of this argument. I’m going to assume this is fact now, with zero research.
If I’m close to a panic attack there is nothing like weed to bring me back to earth. Everything in moderation (which is something I often ignore, specifically with weed).
our inspection saved us money. they found a crack in the outdoor tiling sealant that was retaining water. we spent $200 on their services, but their report helped us regotiate $5000 off our initial offer, which we had repaired for ~$500. for anybody tossing it up, it’s a no-brainer.
