SystemD works great, but the corporations and politics behind it will ruin Linux if they fully take over. They are already optimizing heavily for IoT just because IBM is heavily focused on IoT

One of the worst news I’ve read lately.
Why aren’t Israeli maintainers removed? Oh because linux is basically owned by IBM now.
The linux kernel isn’t free anymore. It’s open source, but not free.
My philanthropic beliefs and love of freedom. I was absolutely amazed when I found out about open source and free software. Then I got to it and loved it even more, the community, the UI and DEs, how much you could customize everything and how much choices you had. But mostly it is the philosophical beliefs that makes me love linux. Even if it is not better than some alternatives in some aspects, I willl still stand by it.
You people clearly don’t understand politics and how tax works. And like a good boy you learned and believed everything they told you in school. Only a fraction of the tax you pay goes to good cause. The rest goes to making the rich, richer and the poor, poorer and keeping these governments in power.
I’m not from USA, but this is the case in every single country.
Ah. The dream wife of all geeks
A good heart, and high intelligence. Also I’m religious, so faith is #1 factor for me.
A russian dude with schizophrenia is stuck in the subway
I didn’t say they are on my residential internet.
Just search IBM IoT and look at IBM acquisitions in the last decade.
Everyone “used to work for that company” on the internet. And even if you used to work there it doesn’t mean you know anything about their business. IBM is more of a Holding now. Like Volkswagen. Just because someone works at audi it doesn’t mean they know anything about Lamborghini.
