7·1 month agoA quiet evening with my wife. We’re making a Sichuan-style hot pot.
The village “Wacken” is well known in Germany because they hold one of the worlds largest anual Heavy-Metal festivals. They have a population of around 2000, the festival regularly attracts around 80,000 people.
It was for my first “own” pc in 2001. I didn’t have one specific game in mind when buying it, but the first thing I played with it was Giants: Citizen Kabuto.

Replaying Final Fantasy IX. I’m trying if I can make it through the Excalibur II perfect game guide by Atomos199 with the help of the built-in cheats in the Steam version of the game.
I agree with the recommendation for therapy. I can say that it helped me to get in a more positive and constructive mind set.
Other thoughts on your lack of intimacy:
Getting a pet can give some kind of replacement for intimacy with another human being. Sure, it is not the same. But cuddling with a cat can help to feel less lonely.
For intimicy as in “sex”, I think there is nothing wrong with considering sex workers. Unless of course it is illegal in your country…

I read the claim about the correlation between mosquito bites and blood type in a news article where this paper was linked as the source. This teaches me (again) to not blindly trust any news articles without verifying the information.

Are you blood group O? Mosquitoes seem to have a preference for certain blood types, specifically group O.Seems like the paper was missinterpreted by a news article and by myself.

You could do your bachelor’s in the EU. In that case, I believe the easiest way is by searching for universities that offer studies in english. The university I work at offers a master’s in computer science in English but the bachelor’s is in German. Most international universities also have offices that can help you with organizing your stay and visa.
