Socialism to them just means “I don’t like it and you shouldn’t either.”
I wonder how these farmers feel about handouts. Maybe Donnie can send them the bootstraps they all like to yammer about.
They won’t care, and they’ll happily take a handout, and they’ll continue to unironically complain about “welfare queens” and other asinine and manufactured arguments against anything even remotely socialistic.

Just like last time, this will happen too late for many family farms to avoid having to sell, and Big Ag companies will step in, but up that land for cheap AND get those government handouts.
Bankruptcies for farmers still shot up over 20% last trade war, so even if he does eventually bail them out, everytime this happens 1 in 5 of them lose their farm… eventually none will be left and Blackrock will own all the farmland.
