Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp reported last week that Jordynne Grace has signed with WWE. Now we know via WWE sources that she signed a five year contract that will take her through 2029. The plan as of her being signed headed to the NXT brand at least for the time being.
WWE sources that we’ve spoken to claim that Grace signed a main-roster level deal, most in the company don’t expect her to be in NXT long. We’ve not been told she’s planned for tonight’s show, but will be near the Performance Center at least temporarily.
Grace retains rights to her name and her theme song, which she owns.
TNA sources told us they were interested in re-signing Grace, but understood the likelihood wasn’t high.
Well that was quick.
In case anyone is unaware why WWE has been keen to work with TNA.
I’m glad she seemingly gets to use her name, and I for one am glad she also gets to bring her theme music, I hope she negotiated using it into her deal because it’s better than what Dump Rebel would likely make.
Got that right.
