Better watch out for a highstorm in those chasms, Gancho!
I’ve told the wife I can’t watch these shows because of how bad the tech always is, and I can’t stop myself from losing suspension of disbelief when something like this happens
As a teen in the 2010s, my first GPU was an Nvidia 680m in a Sager (Clevo) laptop.
That thing could power through just about anything I’d throw at it. Good times.
Lucky you lmao
I still see them once every so often
In fact, I went onsite to a customer who wanted a new PC set up because the old one “wouldn’t boot”. Sure enough the cable was sticking out of the monitor at about a 15deg angle. I pushed the VGA cable in a bit extra hard and it came right back.
I was out of there in about 30min.
They’re doing the societal version of “I could shoot someone on 5th Avenue”
Denver to St Louis through KS and MI is up there
Doesn’t help that getting from West to East on i70 through Kansas City is a nightmare after driving that long.
Spoiler: i70 doesn’t just run through the city like one would think.
Nothing in the right quantity, I use it in my own cooking when I need more umami in a dish.
There are old studies out there that said it was a problem ingredient (hence “no MSG” labels all over different foods), but those have been largely debunked due to racial bias.
In excess, the MSG flavor tends to linger, which can be annoying sometimes.
Mmm MSG fries
(Don’t get me wrong I like them too but let’s be honest here, they almost have as much MSG as KFC fries)
Valid, I’m just not a fan of them personally
Too bad fresca uses artificial sweeteners
I used to like the old fresca, too
“learned some things like Linux, command line, docker, and networking/pfsense” “I don’t consider myself technical”
Don’t sell yourself short, I work in IT and have colleagues on our helpdesk who would struggle endlessly with those concepts.
I hereby dub you a tech person, like it or not, those skills can and do pay the bills.
Syncthing is fantastic. Loving it so far.
The weird gargoyles are still there, near baggage claim.
That’s the main terminal above security in the photo.
Great photo!
For context: they’ve been remodeling the interior of the airport for a few years now, all the walls here are temporary
I’m just waiting for a good 2-in-1 Linux solution to come around. I don’t have the programming chops to try and make something myself.
I’d love to have something like Gboard (maybe de-googled) that completely deactivates when in laptop-mode.
I don’t even mind if it’s Xorg or Wayland at this point.
Huh.
That’s super interesting!
Free hardware is the best hardware!
I fell for an April Fools joke years ago saying that an upcoming character to be released in Smite was The Morrigan, then confidently posted about it on Reddit weeks later.
This was years before she actually was released, and long before development was started on her.
Bleh.
This is awful.
