        The title track on NMH’s album In The Aeroplane Over The Sea ends with the line “can’t believe/how strange it is to be anything at all”

            But it’s like… The most defining line of the album and the project… Like, not just the most famous, but the emotional climax. As cringe as it may perhaps be, I’m sure I’m not the only one who still gets chills hearing that line in their head so many years later.

          Yeh! You should look into the Elephant 6 collective if ya like NMH, since they were a part of that scene. A lot of the folks who recorded on In the Aeroplane played and recorded in other bands like the Apples In Stereo, the Olivia Tremor Control, and there were heaps of other bands that played with 'em in Athens.
